Chanel’s Cheeky Spring 2013 Campaign

The explosion of the East Asian luxury market over the past few years must have been inspiration for Karl Lagerfeld’s Spring 2013 campaign. Set in a Japanese tea room, the Kaiser offers a playful look into the indulgence of therapy as bankable newcomers, Ondria Hardin and Yumi Lambert are photographed in a series of remedy receiving poses. Juxtaposed against the veteran Stella Tenant, the seasoned model brings a powerful depth of contradiction looking every bit the Geisha instructor to the animations of the up and comers. While fashion can be the ultimate self-indulgent remedy for therapeutic intervention – judging by the tease of this campaign, Chanel is, of course, cure!
