Michael Halpern is known for his riffs on fabulous 1970s style that oozes Studio 54 glamour. For his standout SS19 collection in Soho today, he has clearly been inspired by the swinging sixties. Yes, there were flares. Sequins, of course. And lots of shimmying party wear. But the overall vibe was mod-meets-sparkle, featuring geometric patterns, organza gowns, glittering shift dresses and patent leather bolero jackets.
