Here’s what we know so far about SZA’s sustainable streetwear fashion line

Not just a music icon, SZA has proven herself an activist from the get-go, using her platform to talk about the causes important to her.

This time, the Ctrl singer has taken to Instagram to tease a new clothing line with a difference: sustainable streetwear.

Sharing the caption “Fuck plastic. Y’all ready to save the oceans or nah?” on her stories, she went on to post various sneak peeks into the collection. So far, there’s a blue hoodie and purple-wash sweatshirt, both from Champion, with the ‘Sustainability Gang’ stitched on in rainbow threads. More rainbow comes in the form of the slogan ‘Puck Flastic’, which the signer shared a preview of on her story in the form of a white tee with a seahorse emblazoned underneath the phrase, and ‘Control Fishing Co LLC’ below.

Also tagging a post-less Instagram account called ‘Ctrl Fishing Company’ – that already has 32.6K followers – we’re guessing that’s the name of the line. Following through on her comments that her endeavour would put all 100% of the profits to sustainability efforts, we can’t wait to see what else there is to offer.

Follow SZA on Instagram here and Ctrl Fishing Company here to stay up to date on what’s to come.
