10 questions with Bugzy Malone

Meet the Mancunian who's changing the grime narrative...

Bugzy Malone is changing the face of grime one hook at a time. Born and raised a working class Mancunian, Bugzy’s youth saw him face poverty, domestic violence and criminality, but he only wanted to transcend it all. Doing just that over the past 8 years, the grime MC is the embodiment of achievement in the face of adversity. Dropping his first mixtape, SwaggaMan, in 2010 the rapper took his first steps in the urban music scene, making waves in Manchester and beyond.

Inspired by the likes of Tupac Shakur, Bugzy’s confessional writing style and unique sounds have transformed him into a vital voice in grime. Set to release his debut studio album B. Inspired on 17th August this year, we see a brutally honest side of Bugzy where he pushes boundaries on tough issues and emotions.
