A look back at the pioneering colour photography of William Eggleston

Preview a new William Eggleston exhibition opening at FOAM Gallery, Amsterdam.

[C]ult photographer and storyteller of modern America, William Eggleston brings low-key romance to everyday America in his series, Los Alamos, that is due to go on display at Amsterdam’s FOAM Gallery this year. Named after the New Mexico town where the nuclear bomb was invented, Los Alamos is a collection of over 2000 images taken by Eggleston on a 1960s roadtrip that began in his hometown of Memphis and saw him travel across the southern states to New Orleans, Las Vegas and eventually southern California.

Seventy-five images will go on display at Foam this March. You can find out more about the exhibition here.
