Take a look inside.

[D]ropping in stores next week is a captivating new collaboration from A.F. Vandevorst and the iconic stylist and activist B. Åkerlund. A 10-piece capsule collection, it features daring imagery from the A.F. Vandevorst archive to celebrate the brands 20 year anniversary. Photographed by Åkerlund’s regular collaborator Ekaterina Belinskaya, who shot the artist for HUNGER #14, the shoot captures the boundary-breaking brand perfectly. The reinterpretation of the brand’s notorious history will coincide with a series of events, including an artistic exhibition feautring the hospital beds from the SS1999 show alongside the display of the t-shirt capsule.

B. Åkerlund is just as boundary-pushing as A.F. Vandevorst: a  Swedish born fashion activist and costume designer, she’s influenced the industry for over 20 years styling the likes of Madonna to Nicki Minaj. B. “moves freely between fashion, film, music and art”, appreciating creative freedom she expresses herself by transforming “visions into realities” and expresses “personalities through style”, just as A.F. Vandevorst do too.

A.F. Vandevorst’s 20 year anniversary installation and t-shirt display will launch simultaneously at  Opening Ceremony New York on April19th. For more details click here.
