[F]rom owl constructions to the “novelty architecture” that sprang up along America’s Sunbelt from the 1920s, a new book published by TASCHEN, California Crazy, explores the unconventional landscapes and attitudes found on Los Angeles and Hollywood roadsides which allowed these buildings to flourish.
