[T]he team behind London’s annual charitable lottery for fine art, Art on a Postcard, has transformed to Photography on a Postcard for the month of October. The initiative has recruited Martin Parr, Wolfgang Tillmans, Dougie Wallace and Nat Finkelstein among others to donate works to the project, which goes on public display at East London’s The Print Space from Friday.
Photographs are available to purchase by buying a £50 lottery ticket that entitles each holder to one mystery piece from the collection, with all funds will be donated to The Hepatitis C Trust’s campaign to eliminate hepatitis C from the UK by the year 2030.
Each ticket holder will then be awarded their secret, corresponding artwork when the show closes on 25th October. Each photograph will be a postcard sized edition of one and will come with a certificate of authenticity. See works from the show below and buy your ticket here.
