You only need to read that 16-year-old New Yorker Bishop Nehru is represented by the team behind Angel Haze to realise that we’re going to hear a lot about him later this year.

At just 16, Bishop has been commended for his old school sensibilities and complex lyrics, as well as being praised for his videos which he directs, produces and edits himself. Even his name is a nod to rap royalty – Bishop is taken from Tupac’s character in the film Juice – while the Nehru comes from former Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, who worked closely with Gandhi.

Get on board with the hype and watch his new video for ‘Misruled Order’ here.
