"I’m chasing my dreams, they’re coming true!"

Rising from New York over the past few years, SAINt JHN is proving himself to be a force to be reckoned with. Breaking out in the world of songwriting, he wrote lyrics for the likes of Usher and Joey Bada$$, demonstrating his unique vision from early on. Naturally progressing into solo stardom, SAINt JHN’s fresh sounds revealed themselves first in 2016 with ‘Roses’ and progressed into the Hip Hop, R&B, rock-tainted innovation that is ‘I Heard You Got Too Litt Last Night’.

Fusing influences from SAINt JHN’s two origins, Brooklyn and Guyana, he dropped his debut studio album Collection 1. Blending genres and vibes, it was greatly acclaimed by critics and set him up for a meteoric rise. Taking the music industry by storm, he’s stepping foot into the world of fashion too, and seamlessly blends the two in his creations. 2018 is set to be a big one, so get to know the trailblazer and let SAINt JHN be your Internet Guide…

What would you like to see more of online? What about less of?

The internet is an encyclopedia for ignorance. You can find anything you want. It’s hard to complain when you can just press “X” and change the channel.

What or who is the best account you follow?

Sizzy Rocket is the best – she does Rock ’n Roll from a woman’s lens in a really sincere way.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve read about yourself online?

I don’t make it a habit of reading things about myself. I’d rather see memes about me. Waaay more entertaining.

What’s your favourite meme?

I don’t know if I have one. Those Jay-Z memes on the jet ski are outrageous though. Tomorrow there will be something new to laugh about so no favs.

What’s your earliest memory of the Internet?

Dial up! We were poor. Couldn’t use the phone and be online at the same time.

Is the Internet a good or bad thing for music?

It’s a fantastic thing. That’s like asking if information is good or bad.

How many followers represent success?

Success is defined by the user. If Instagram crashed tomorrow, I would still feel the same about what I’ve done with my life.

Finally…what’s going on in your life?

Wow, what a question! I’m chasing my dreams, they’re coming true!
