Hi both! How did you both came up with the concept for ELV denim?
We are both really passionate about the lasting functionality of denim. Even though the style might not be in fashion or loved anymore, we strongly believe the fabric still has the strength and durability to live on. It takes over 10,000 litres of water to make ONE pair of jeans, and we make sophisticated and modern jeans from previously discarded men’s and women’s jeans which otherwise could be destined for landfill.
Your top three tips to shopping more sustainably?
Shop local, ask for reduced packaging, buy quality rather than quantity.
What sets ELV denim apart from other denim brands?
We take unwanted and discarded denim and create a brand new jean, we don’t discriminate over the style or the ‘condition’ of the original jean. All our jeans are unique, so therefore everyone can find a pair in their size which suits them.
