WHAT: Giorgio Armani

WHEN: Monday 25th February 12:30pm

WHO: Mr. Giorgio Armani of course.

FIRST LOOK: Black velvet trousers paired with a grey jacket with black box print embroidery, a poofy fur hat and flat shoes which even we liked, and we are not a fan of a flat.

HAIR: Like the Emporio show, hair was mostly hidden under a hat.

LIPSTICK, POWDER & PAINT: Dewey skin and defined eyes.

FINALE LOOK: Full length black velvet skirt with a mesh front see-through camisole top and what seemed to be a very playful rubber cartoon take on a 1940s bowler hat. We enjoyed muchly.

MUSIC: Classic Italian riffs with low vocals and remixed beats.

WE LOVE: Janet Jacket front row surprisingly not rocking any velvet. We think she may have used it all up on her Velvet Rope Tour in the 90s…

WOULD YOU?: Make up a Janet Jackson dance routine in ode to her many velvet ropes?

OVERHEARD: “Is Janet Jackson trying to compete with the models with the height of those heels?”

Versace. Versace’s 2011 collection for the Swedish fashion retailer referenced the label’s glamorous archive. Featuring a range of loud prints, bold colour and lots of studs, both the 40-piece womenswear line and 20-piece men’s line caused quite a stir and sold out instantly. Kanye West was seen wearing the line’s exotic bomber jacket way ahead of the launch!
