New Faces II: Meet the Modelling Class of 2018

Get ready to see this lot everywhere.

[T]he world of fashion is an ever-changing sphere, with collections dropping out the blue and trends forecast like a rainy day, it’s hard to keep your finger on the pulse. With supermodels being social media stars and Instagram-casting becoming a norm, it’s now easier than ever to get to know the once-blank canvases walking down the runways. With London Fashion Week Men’s starring some sure-to-be-hot newbies and fashion month on the horizon, we’ve got nine new faces you will soon be seeing all over. With our issue #13 theme in mind, we asked the rising up-and-comers what they think of our Mad World and how it feels to be a part of the ever evolving industry. Meet the second four of our 2018 new faces now…

I hugged Clare Balding.

What makes you hopeful for the future?

Clare Balding.

What makes you mad?

Anything before midday.

What’s the maddest thing about the fashion industry?

I’m allowed to be a part of it.

Jude Gralak, Models 1, @jude_gralak

In space!

What’s the maddest thing you’ve ever done?

Running behind my sisters with a knife when I was 5 (I was a bit of a creepy kid).

What makes you mad?

When I can’t get what I want.

Zavier George, NAMED, @zaviergeorge_

Favourite shoot to date?

Gosha x Burberry

We live in a mad world because…

There are two leaders of different countries who are having twitter beef.

What makes you mad?

When you’re sitting on the train or bus and someone sits right next to you for some weird reason.

Joi Riggall, MiLK, @joi.5

Favourite shoot to date?

I have many favourite shoots, it’s hard to just choose one. I love experimenting with shapes and exploring different poses like doing a back bend or the splits or doing various yoga/dance like poses. I love shoots with heaps of colour and sparkles, one shoot I did was rainbow themed from the clothes to the make up and the studio itself. Ultimately I just love being in front of the camera.

What’s the maddest thing about the fashion industry?

The maddest thing about the fashion industry is getting to travel and explore different places and meeting and working with people and making new friends all over the world.
