Prada team up with Autumn de Wilde for Christmas movies

Prada and Autumn de Wilde have teamed up for a second time to celebrate gift giving and the postal service: releasing the first parts to a four-part series, the collaboration is entitled ‘The Postman’s Gifts’. Dropping the first on their Instagram, Prada have tapped into Elijah Wood’s sweet charm and Emma Roberts’ classic aesthetic to create The Bogey. A tale of a postman seeking to deliver the Prada Galleria to two lucky receivers – Emma Roberts being the first and Sasha Frolova opening her box in The Troublemaker – the vignettes are classically de Wilde in their bold colour palettes and quirky scripting.
Having worked with Wes Anderson previously, it seems Prada’s Italian intricacy is very in tune with American cinematic chic, as the short films are worthy of the silver screen. With two more vignettes yet to come, Prada will showcase their accessories collection in ‘The Postman’s Gifts’ in December 2017. Stay tuned.
