The zine capturing youth and unity in Buenos Aires

Introducing Perro Pistolas.

[P]erro Pistola is a zine published by photographer Belen Asad in Buenos Aires, Agrentina. The publication seeks to capture youth culture in the city as it manifests itself among Belen’s friends in a combination of late nights, empty subways, discarded furniture, gold boots and vintage sportswear. More than just an aesthetic, though, the Perro Pistola project is a means of exploration and the search for identity. Comprised entirely of snapshots taken on the move with a disposable or 35mm camera, the images are a spontaneous moments in time that reflect the photographer’s shifting tastes in fashions, friends, boys and situations, as well as a long-term fixation and sentimentality for subculture.
