Watch Frank Ocean explain why he wore Vans to the White House

[A]uteur, disappearing act and Vans fan boy Frank Ocean was invited to the White House this week for a state dinner with the Italian Prime Minister. Whilst there, he gave his first interview in three years – explaining to the assembled press why he chose to wear checkerboard Vans to the Prez’ house.

“You can’t think you just have to do things,” Frank explained before adding that he was mainly looking forward to asking Obama if he had fun being president.
