Weird America, a photo essay

[R]evered and reviled, historically known as a land of opportunity, more recently recognised as a problematic, divided nation playing a major role in the global clusterfuck, the USA is an enigma. Captured throughout its history by writers, painters, photographers, designers and historians, each with their own specific agenda, an effective portrait of the United States is hard to come by.
