Zoe Bradley creates a neon floral paradise
For Galeria Melissa.
[K]nown for her otherworldly paper sculptures – British artist Zoe Bradley has collaborated over the years with the likes of Alexander McQueen, Dior and Louis Vuitton. Now she brings two of our favourite aesthetics together in a brand new exhibition for London’s Galeria Melissa.
“Neon Garden” is an installation of exotic East Asian inspired paper flowers – bathed in hyperreal neon tones. It’s a trip down the rabbit hole – featuring a large suspended Lotus sculpture, kaleidoscopic floral animations and an exotic garden. Involving 100 hours of cutting, folding, gluing and curling – Zoe has produced over 400 individual flowers to fill the space, creating a surreal, calm oasis at the centre of Covent Garden.
Preview the dreamy visuals on display below, and experience it for yourself at Galeria Melissa where the exhibition will be open until 15th August.
