The international multi-faceted art house and content platform Gallery Gallery teamed up with iconic watch brand G-Shock to launch an immersive art experience in London. Held at every London creative’s hotspot, Dijonss in Shoreditch, the exhibition saw Gallery Gallery transform the spot into an immersive experience, featuring five artists painting on a blank canvas in front of a live audience. The brand called upon a who’s who of rising artists including the likes of Navinder Nangla, Teoni Hinds, Amy Leung, Atlantic Johnson, and Kida Kudz to generate one of one pieces that demonstrate each of their signature styles. The artists also linked up with G-Shock to produce one of a kind watches, putting their personal spin on classic designs. These consisted of designs from Nangla, Hinds, Leung, and Kida, as well as another design from Beau. The event allowed a plethora of up and coming talents to showcase their skills, proving that the UK’s creative scene is well and truly in good hands for years to come.

Wu-Tang Clan frontman and hip-hop royalty RZA has just dropped the final launch of his long term partnership with whiskey brand Ballantine’s – a RZA-inspired limited edition bottle of Ballantine’s 7 American Barrel. This bespoke bottle is adorned with poetry penned by RZA during his visit to the Ballantine’s distillery in Scotland. Inspired by RZA’s favourite whisky from the Ballantine’s portfolio, the Scotch is aged for seven years and finished in American barrels and masterfully merges Scotch whisky’s richness with American oak’s sweetness, embodying a fusion of Scottish and American cultures. The limited-edition bottle features a label including the intricate pattern constructed from the handwritten words of RZA’s poem, complete with the iconic Wu-Tang Clan hands. The Ballantine’s 7 American Barrel x RZA Limited Edition is now available to purchase worldwide from thewhiskyexchange.com.

Finally, New Amsterdam Surf Association has revealed a collection that’s just as perfect for sitting behind your desk as it is hitting the beach. How does that make sense exactly? Well, notably through a selection of Loose shirting mixed with comfy suiting and a cosy cardigan thrown in for good measure. The collection, titled ‘The Tourist’ embodies stereotypical tourist vibes through its campaign (shot in Newquay), which presents models holding disposable cameras perched in front of an arcade and, of course, a bit of hopeless map reading. The collection is available to shop online here.

Finally, legendary and pioneering Drum & bass producers Chase & Status have teamed up with London-based design studio FRAY for a five-part narrative film – acting as the main visual content for their sold-out tour across the UK. Throughout the tour, the film – which follows a protagonist and focuses on the intensity of the rave journey – will be played out on big screens for audiences. The film celebrates that unique feeling of euphoria one can only experience at the rave. Rather than being set in a particular club or location, the film is set in a black space, using lighting and smoke to set the boundaries and size, allowing audiences to move from epic and lonely locations to hot, intense and confined spaces within moments. For the production, FRAY has matched the energetic levels of the artist’s live show, capturing the intensity of mosh pits, a sense of community and, of course, endless energy. Check out footage from the shows below.
