The long wait for the release of the Adidas by 032c GSG 9 boot is over. Dropped on June 21, the boots are available on the 032c website, Dover Street Market and the DSML E-Shop.
Adidas GSG 9 was originally made and designed for Germany’s Grenzschutz Gruppe 9 (“Border Protection Group 9”). The collaboration between Adidas and 032c is aptly coded GSG-9.032c, the boot is a tasteful update of the original shoe. Coming in a minimal light grey suede and reflective 3Ms, 032c have added their own edge to the shoe while remaining to be respectful of its original structure and silhouette.
GSG-9.032c is a combination of Berlin’s past, “its anti-institutional history with the city’s brutalist post-war architecture, former bunkers that were transformed into recesses of freedom after the fall of the Wall, where sweaty ravers stress-tested their repurposed combat pants and work boots.” Said 032c on its apparel website .
