10 of the most stylish movies of the 80s

The 1980s was an era of excess. Shaking out of disco bell bottoms and into a decade that embraced shoulder pads, supersized barnets and S&M bondage style (minimalism would have to wait a good ten years to return to the runway). I personally delight in the unapologetic glamour of it all; the punchy colour palettes, heavy blush, bold female tuxedos (Calvin Klein, thank you) and oversized silhouettes. Memo: too much is simply not enough.
