Dave delivered an impassioned performance, Stormzy fan boy-ed over Billie Eilish and Harry Styles rocked art teacher chic.
From Billie Eilish’s full Burberry fit, Lizzo’s Hershey-inspired ensemble and Harry Styles’ jumper and pearl set, you’ll no doubt have seen the best looks from the Brits’ red carpet all across social media – but what went down at the event itself?
There’s no way of discussing the Brits 2020 ceremony without talking about Dave. The British rapper scooped up Album of the Year for Psychedelia and staged a special performance of hit song “Black” with an extra verse condemning UK PM Boris Johnson’s notorious racism and both Windrush and Grenfell.
Other major wins of the night include Stormzy for British Male Artist, Mabel for British Female Artist, Foals for British Group, Tyler, The Creator for International Male Artist, Billie Eilish for International Female Artist and HUNGER fave Celeste for Rising Star.
Another talking point of the evening was a backstage meeting between Stormzy and Eilish, captured by Kiss FM, which saw the British musician praise the American singer’s skills as a lyricist and sing his own version of “Everything I Wanted.”
