AJ Tracey steps up to the plate for the first uk major league baseball event: the inclusive london derby
The first of its kind, the event will see women and men playing together in professional Major League Baseball, launching alongside the British rapper.
Set to throw their first pitch at Crystal Palace Park this July, Major League Baseball players from across iconic men’s and women’s teams will come together to entertain London crowds as they compete in four Home Run Derby X games. Adding to the mix, AJ Tracey will also be stepping up to the plate with a headline live performance.
Swinging for the fences include representatives from four of MLB’s most historic clubs – think Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees – and consist of MLB Legends, Superstars and Rookies.
Created to attract new audiences to the sport, Home Run Derby X combines the classic rules of baseball with a more contemporary format. Playing alongside the seasoned swingers will be influential content creators – a.k.a ‘Wild Cards’ – including Liv Cooke (football freestyling sensation) and Spencer Owen (founder of Hashtag United).
