Balmain and evian partner up for couture gown made from recycled plastic bottles

The sustainably sourced gown will be revealed during PFW at the Balmain Festival.

French fashion house Balmain has collaborated with hydration brand Evian to create a couture gown made from recycled plastic Evian bottles that will be revealed at the Balmain Festival during Paris Fashion Week.

The gown, which uses sustainable Evian technology, will be presented as an industry-leading example of the value we can find in circular innovation.

The two brands will also be coming together once more for the release of a stunning limited edition glass bottle at the end of October, ahead of the festive period.

The campaign video for the collab features Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing, who continues the theme of sustainability. “We have the power to shape a better world. Today we carry a message. Let’s dream our future,” said the designer.

This year’s Balmain festival, which mixes fashion, music and food, will take place on September 28th at the Stade Jean Bouin during PFW.
