After premiering a sleek, all-white trainer earlier this year, Prada and adidas have announced the second stage of their new partnership.
Launching on 8 September, the two powerhouses have teamed up to put an updated spin on the iconic adidas Superstar. With the original shoe being synonymous with streetwear minimalism, its latest incarnation harnesses Prada’s sharp elegance.
Crafted from supple leather by footwear specialists in the Prada Marche factory and bearing dual Prada and adidas logos, the style is available in a trio of colourways: monochrome black, white with black and chrome silver with white.
Hungry for more? For the next stage of the Prada x adidas collab, hinted at in a press release, the two brands will combine their shared passion for sport to celebrate The America’s Cup; the oldest trophy in sport and the most prestigious international sailing race.
Prada and adidas’s latest collection will be available in Prada boutiques, Adidas flagships, selected wholesalers and online at adidas.com and prada.com from 8 September.
