Blue Ivy already has two gold plaques at just 10-years-old

Beyoncé and Blue Ivy collab, anyone?

No matter how successful you are, you probably haven’t achieved half as much as Blue Ivy Carter has at just 10 years old. The daughter of megastars Beyoncé and Jay-Z already has two gold plaques under her belt, but I guess that should be expected with her parents.

The Carters’ first-born child received her plaques after Beyoncé’s tracks’ Blue,’ from her album Beyoncé, and ‘Brown Skin Girl,’ which appeared on The Lion King: The Gift, sold 500,000 units each. The certifications were awarded by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The child prodigy is credited as a featured artist on ‘Blue’ and a vocal contributor and songwriter on ‘Brown Skin Girl.’ At age 10 you probably still couldn’t ride a bike without training wheels. Meanwhile, across the pond, a kid is making gold records. If only all of our parents were two of history’s most talented artists…

But her list of incredible achievements doesn’t stop there. She was also awarded a Grammy nomination for her contribution to ‘Brown Skin Girl’. Then, she became the youngest person ever to appear on the Billboard hot 100 after her father credited her on the track ‘Glory’ only two days after she was born. I mean, with a headstart like that, what chance do the rest of us have?
