Bonnie and Clyde From the Future

Former HUNGER cover star, filmmaker and intersex rights advocate River Gallo stars in a vintage-themed photography series shot by photographer Andrea Riba. In chameleon-like fashion, River embodies both halves of bandit couple Bonnie and Clyde to pay homage to the legendary 1967 film dedicated to the infamous duo. Reminding us that strict gender roles – in both society and on the silver screen – belong in the past, this collaborative shoot is a necessary representation of the beauty of fluidity.
