Breakfast at Fendi’s botanical garden

A nod to Silvia’s love of gardening during the down times (that I’m sure she rarely gets) this season's Fendi show is blooming good.

There’s nothing like a country break away, but, when that country break away is with peacocking fashion folk in primly outfitted chassis, then you know you’re in for a treat of celestial measure. Yes, the regular hustle and bustle, (Insta) lives and (Insta) stories at the ready, however, this was an affair that is exceptionally Mrs Venturini Fendi and exceptionally  her doing. The show took residence at the illustrious, Villa Reale di Marlia Garden, Lucca.

A nod to Silvia’s love of gardening during the down times (that I’m sure she rarely gets); organic produce and flowers. With Roses blooming, about the arcadia, Fendi clad workwear staffers and pleasantries, we wouldn’t expect anything less from the ever-so-chic madame of the manor.

This season’s guest artist, director, Luca Guadagnino collaborated with the house and lent his artistic lens towards creating a unique, geometric print, one blousons, tunics, vests and parkas. The botanical theme was reimagined through wax print jackets, laser cut knits, low slung jumpsuits, bucket hats and dare I mention- watering cans are in because Fendi said so.

Whicker baskets filled with Fendi merch were seen monogrammed with the double ‘F’ zucca, From baby bananas to coffee mugs, we’re sure that one of those goodies are finding their way on to the resell ether as we speak.
