Converse announce partnership with Baby Keem

The Grammy-winning rapper is the latest star to endorse the brand, joining the likes of Tyler, The Creator and Natasha Cloud.

Baby Keem has only seen his stock rise since bursting onto the music scene and now he’s stepping into the world of fashion as he’s the latest addition to Converse’s creative community.

Keem will explore multiple dimensions of the Chuck Taylor All Star through his creative vision and will partner with the brand on unique experiences with Converse All Stars, the brand’s creator community giving emerging talent access to mentorship, experiences and opportunities.

In celebration of the partnership, Converse gave Keem the licence to develop and produce a short film in which he references two of his interests – a cassette tape labelled “LP #2” and a black Chuck Taylor All Star High Top – which Keem describes as “iconic and timeless.”

The approach is part of an ongoing Create Next campaign which offers a platform for creatives around the world and across disciplines the creative freedom to shape Converse’s legacy.

Keem joins an already stacked roster of stars affiliated with Converse which includes the likes of Tyler, The Creator, Natasha Cloud and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
