Earth Day – Brands across beauty, skincare and more that are putting sustainability first

In honour of Earth Day, HUNGER has curated a selection of brands and products that have proved their commitment to sustainability via ethically sourced materials, biodegradable packaging, and a sustained effort to reduce waste.

French fragrance house MATIERE PREMIERE has launched a perfect spring scent called French Flower. Containing tuberose organically grown in the artisan perfumer’s own flower fields in Grasse, French Flower offers a mono floral bouquet strictly made of tuberose. The brand is committed to championing sustainability by being the only perfumer in the world to own, plant, grow and harvest and use their own natural ingredients.

NAYA is an award-winning, dermatologically tested skincare line that champions a very special secret ingredient from the Amazon rainforest called Cacay Oil. Their jewellery is cast in recycled gold and silver by Kalman Hefner in Germany, ensuring that production is kept as local as possible, and Akva solely uses diamonds that are fair trade and conflict-free.
