Gigi Hadid reveals her new clothing line, Guest in Residence

Gigi Hadid announced on Thursday via Instagram that she’s making the relevant jump from wearing clothes to designing her own with her new clothing brand, Guest in Residence.

The supermodel made the revelation by posting a selection of images showing off a sneak peek of the process of creating her new knitwear collection. She then showed off a few of the sample pieces from the forthcoming brand. “Been workin on something….with love, @guestinresidence :),” she wrote in the caption. She also updated her bio to reflect her new job role, writing, “founder, creative director @guestinresidence.”

While all the groundwork has been laid, details on Hadid’s new brand are relatively scarce. It does, however, at least have a few famous fans. Hailey Bieber commented on the post, “So excited about this,” while her sister Bella added, “What we’ve all been waiting for,” with a string of pink heart emojis. Well, if they’re all excited, then so are we.

This hasn’t been the first time the star has dipped her toes into the world of fashion design. She announced in April that she’d be partnering with childhood friend and founder of Frankie’s Bikinis, Francesca Aiello, on a collaborative swimwear collection. She’s also released collaborations with Tommy Hilfiger and Reebok.
