Here’s how to cop the new Palace x Ugg collab kicks

The collaboration debuted in the Palace SS23 lookbook and will be available on the 31st of March in London.

Palace is a brand known for its unexpected collaborations. They often feel effortless, cool of course, and even, sometimes, a bit weird (cue video to their collab with Jonah Hill back in 2016). This year alone, linking up with brands like adidas with their Sambas and Firebird tracksuits has continued their run of enviable, pocket-emptying products. And now, the Palace x Ugg collection has landed out of nowhere to bring the skateboarding and comfort world together. Skating in Uggs? Not practical, but you would be pretty cosy doing it.

The fur-lined shoe brand’s plans are clearly expanding from the mini-platform influencer market with hopes that streetwear would welcome them with open arms. They have previously collaborated with brands like Bape in 2019, Tadanori Yokoo in 2020, and Telfar in ‘21 and ‘22. They even ventured into a campaign last year with icon Cher as the face in a bid to promote individuality and personal style.

So for 2023, enter the Palace x Ugg high boots in classic colour ways of ‘Chesnut’ and ‘Black’ – complete with an electric blue lightning bolt cutting through the outer suede. The heel tag includes both companies’ branding, with ‘PALACE’ scrawled across the back in large white lettering with purple stitching around the edge.

And even though social media users may have not been overly impressed with the result of this specific design, there are still many hype followers waiting in anticipation for the drop… and here it is. Palace’s website will have both colour ways available on the 31st of March, whilst locations like Dover Street Market in London and Los Angeles will also have the boot to purchase. They will also be released in Japan on the 1st of April on the Palace Japan website, as well as on the Palace WeChat store on the 25th of March.
