HUNGER PREMEIRE: Kirby Forest drops slick new visuals for ‘To A Tee’

Golf just got cool.

Introducing Kirby Forest, the 21-year-old making a mark far beyond his years on the UK rap scene. Kirby’s energetic and crunchy flows have been establishing him as one of the most exciting and adapting new artists emerging from the underground.

Taking over a golf course in his video for To A Tee, Kirby perfectly visualises the infectious quick-witted bars with the vintage home-video style.

To A Tee is a lo-fi-hip hop single with high-energy and powerful lyrics, Kirby explains: “The track is like my energy towards any doubters, when you’re on a journey you’re always going to get people that support and people that doubt. All you can do is focus on yourself and keep going, so I just took some of that energy whilst freestyling and recording and it came out like that! We did references in my home studio then went to a London studio to finish it up.”

Although born in London, Kirby moved to Atlanta, Georgia at 12-years-old, here he discovered his love for music – inspired and influenced by the city’s historic and legendary rap scene. Kirby’s music throughout features signature hip-hop and lo-fi elements from the artists he listened too and grew up around while living in Atlanta.

To A Tee is in the lead up to Kirby’s highly anticipated EP set to be released later this month.
