Watch the vibrant artist's captivating ode to resilience and resistance.

“I’ll live to fight another day, I swear I’ll fight another day”, Falana declares in her powerful new single, captivating us with both her liberating lyrics and her deeply moving visuals. For ‘Repeat’, Falana explores the universality of the human experience in our ever-changing world and our need for spirituality, community, and of course, love. The artist emphasised to HUNGER that her new single and the accompanying visuals are an ode to “resilience and resistance in all forms”, an empowered call-to-arms.

The Toronto born, Lagos based musician has found her sound through flawlessly blending soul, Afrobeats, neo-jazz and expressive percussion to create a unique vibe, so mellow yet so distinctive. Growing up listening to everything from King Sunny Ade’s gospel Yoruba music to Etta James’ lilts to Lauyrn Hill’s sharpness, Falana’s vast influences and evocative voice have led her to such inimitable creations. With her EP coming soon, the singer-songwriter should undoubtedly be on your radar, and HUNGER sure can’t wait to see what’s to come in Falana’s world…
