HUNGER PREMIERE: Kofi Stone drops powerful visuals for ‘Same Old’

The Birmingham rapper is back and means business.

Bringing back his refreshing sounds of rap, alt-hip-hop and soul, Kofi Stone’s newest offering is a sharply mesmerising return to music. Following on from last year’s ‘Stories in Pyjamas’, ‘Nothin’ Ain’t Free’ and ‘Daddy Don’t Want This’, Kofi has delivered perhaps his most mesmerising track yet with ‘Same Old’: capturing a rawness so intimate and honest, the track’s emotive lyrics paired with the sharp rap keeps Kofi Stone as relevant and needed as ever.

2018 was certainly a milestone one for the rising artist: following only a couple of releases, Kofi found himself supporting the likes of Easy Life, Ady Suleiman and Bilal before a standout performance on the NOISEY stage alongside Ebenezer, Slowthai and Octavian at The Great Escape. Now in 2019, Kofi Stone is bringing out his debut 14-track mixtape, Nobody Cares till Everybody Does, coming soon this spring. Accompanying the daring new single, ‘Same Old’, is an equally confessional visual, it’s clear that Kofi is one to watch this 2019.
