HUNGER PREMIERE: Kyra’s beautifully intimate visuals for ‘Cause and Cure’

Just divine.

Channelling 19th-century fashion and romanticism, Kyra’s visuals for her ‘Cause and Cure’ single are nothing short of cinematic beauty.

The West London R&B artist has instantly gained momentum in the music industry, with Kyra’s soothing tones combined with her artistic approach to the lyrics and visualisation of her serene tracks. She has had support from the likes of Jamz Supernova and is currently working with Kojey Radical and Maverick Sabre.

‘Cause and Cure’ was co-written with The Garden, and is the first release from her forthcoming EP Xanadu. ‘Cause and Cure’ is based on the cult movie of the same name – revolving around the nine muses and one who descends to Earth to inspire a human but ends up falling in love with him.

Throughout the contemporary visuals, you feel the anguish and passion throughout her movements and the delicate sepia filters, Kyra said on the track; “‘Cause and Cure’ depicts an intense relationship, both loving and abusive. Themes of duality of self, good and bad, love and lust.”
