Combining GANNI’s signature Scandi 2.0 sense of style and Ace & Tate’s timeless Dutch design, the collection brings out the best of both worlds from the brands. The exclusive eyewear collection presents three styles of sunnies that incorporate various personalities, including boxy square shapes, slim silhouettes and a Y2K-inspired oversized wraparound silhouette for all you TikTok girlies out there.
Speaking on the collab, GANNI’s Creative Director, Ditte Reffstru, says: “We played around a lot with colours and shapes. Our design team had so much fun envisioning all the different types of people and how they wear the shades. For me GANNI is all about being welcoming, #GANNIgirls is plural for a reason, because everyone is welcome.”
Discussing how the brands’ responsibility ethos was maintained during the collection’s creation, Sean Gregory Pearson, Ace & Tate VP of marketing, tells HUNGER: “We’re both B-Corp certified brands, and we’re both invested in trying to minimise the impact our products have on the planet. The intention for both brands from the very beginning of the process was to deliver something exciting to wear while utilising the most responsible materials we can.”
Meanwhile, the brand’s ensured innovation was maintained through their “materials, design approach, and manufacturing techniques with the specific aim of reducing our impact on the environment.”

Meanwhile, each style is available in four colour-ways: Burgundy, Matcha Green, Havana Brown and an exclusive Bubblegum Pink colour-way only available at GANNI stores and online.
Both brands maintain their responsibility ethos, producing the styles in a sustainably sourced manner using Acetate Renew Bio (which replaces fossil-fuel-derived acetic Anhydride) and recycled acetate materials.
In celebration of the collection, GANNI and Ace & Tate have partnered with London-based creative agency PeopleFile to produce campaign shots of both brands’ respective hometowns, Copenhagen and Amsterdam – and their homes away from home, London and New York. Instead of capturing professional models, the campaign features street cast talents only, embodying the brands’ inclusive approach to fashion.
The GANNI x Ace & Tate sunglasses collection is set to launch on June 7th at 8am BST in Europe and June 14th in the US. It will be available to shop in GANNI and Ace & Tate stores across Europe and the US, as well as on GANNI.com and aceandtate.com
