Next, Persia Educational Foundation and Film Buzz Festival have partnered up to announce the Iranian Women Life Freedom Short Film Festival. The festival will be the first of its kind in London since the inception of the #WomanLifeFreedom movement began in September 2022 and will showcase an array of short films by women in Iran – celebrating the world’s first women-led revolution. The selection of short films will delve into the reality of life in Iran today and offer insight into the events that occurred since the death of Mahsa Jina Amini. The festival is held on Friday, 23rd June, 3pm to 5pm, and on Saturday, 24th June, 10am to 12 noon, at Curzon Victoria.
