Inside Simone Rocha and H&M’s Blair Waldorf-Worthy Collab

The Irish designer has conjured up a regal collection for her high street debut, launching on 11 March.

Simone Rocha will be joining the ranks of Kenzo, Marni and Comme des Garçons from 11 March, with the launch of her first H&M collection.

With the lookbook dropping yesterday (8 Feb), fashion fans can see that the offering is bestowing a generous helping of ruffles, bows and pearls (Bridgerton fans rejoice!) as well as a selection of headbands that call to mind Gossip Girl‘s Queen B. In an accompanying fashion film, familiar faces such as Adwoa Aboah and Daisy Edgar-Jones speak of the sense of community inspired by the Irish designer’s playfully feminine pieces, while Rocha voices her excitement about bringing her label to new audiences.

For the first time, Rocha will be branching out into menswear and, even, childrenswear – expanding on her signature womenswear collections, which have become a mainstay at London Fashion Week after debuting with Fashion East in 2010. Since her beginnings under Lulu Kennedy’s tutelage, her line has been stocked in Colette (RIP) and Dover Street Market and has scooped up the British Womenswear Designer Award at the 2016 Fashion Awards.
