INSTAGLAM: @a1jewel0310’s transhuman take on beauty

The MUA, digital artist and designer is pushing the boundaries of art and technology with her out-of-this-world looks.

Signed to London’s tastemaker modelling agency Anti-Agency, Jewel has the kind of desirable side hustle and countercultural credentials that don’t come easy. Whilst she’s also getting hyped for making face art and digital design for underground music acts like Yaya Bones and Meuko! Meuko! the multi-hyphenate first caught our sights thanks to her standout Instagram page @a1jewel0310.

Combining her creative talents, she uses her feed as a portfolio for an avant-garde makeup aesthetic ranging from delicate, hand-painted patterns to charcoal slime (more on that later). Despite trying out many different looks, she’s always on the lookout to stretch the conventional boundaries of beauty and often uses her skills as a digital artist to blur the boundaries between reality and futurist fantasy.

We slid into her DMs to chat inspirations, the wildest look she’s ever created and what “beauty” means to her.
