John Lawrence Sullivan celebrates future outsiders for AW19

Tour ready attire.

Live music from London indie group Wild Daughter, a plethora of leopard print and heavy leather trench coats and trousers: step inside John Lawrence Sullivan’s fashion underground.

Against the backdrop an old railway arch in Shoreditch, the collection itself was imbued with the new, creating a contemporary uniform fit for future outsiders.

Stepping out of the usual darkness linked to post punk subcultures, the collections colour palette was largely inspired by Mark Rothko’s contrasting hues and improvised textures, pairing earthy shades of beige and brick next to vivid orange and greens. The key takeaway? Luxe leopard print. And lots of it…
