Kanye West rips into Pete Davidson after breakup with Kim Kardashian

"SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28," West declared.

Is there anyone in the world Kanye West hates more than Pete Davidson? Probably not, so the news of the comedian’s split with Ye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, likely had the rapper grinning from ear to ear.

West couldn’t just celebrate in silence. He returned to Instagram to share an image of a newspaper mockup with the headline “SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28” (Skete being West’s admittedly humorous nickname for his arch nemesis).

It also took aim at West’s other nemesis, Kid Cudi, with a subheadline reading, “Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers,” which we read as a joke about the performer walking off the stage at last month’s Rolling Loud festival in Miami after fans threw objects at him.

This isn’t the first time the artist has gone at the Saturday Night Live star publicly. He famously proclaimed that “God saved me from that crash, just so I could whip Pete Davidson’s ass,” on The Game-assisted track ‘Eazy.’ Oh, and in the video for that one, West could be seen carrying around Davidson’s disembodied head, if you somehow forgot.

A source close to Kardashian confirmed to Page Six on Friday that Kardashian and Davidson had split after nine months of dating. “Kim and Pete have decided to just be friends,” a source close to the reality star shared. “They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
