Kimbra continues her victory lap for ‘A Reckoning’ at New York’s Webster Hall

HUNGER were in attendance for the singer-songwriter’s standout performance in the big apple.

It’s been over a decade since Kimbra was catapulted into the spotlight following the success of ‘Somebody I Used to Know,’ which landed her and Gotye a Grammy – and saw the track reach the peak of the Billboard Hot 100. Since then, the New Zealand-born singer-songwriter has kept it relatively low-key, with her previous full-length album, Primal Heart, arriving five years ago in 2018. But now, the star has finally made her triumphant return with her latest studio album, A Reckoning – an introspective project that sees the artist unashamedly confronting her emotions head-on.

In celebration of the album’s release, Kimbra has taken to the road for the ‘A Reckoning Tour,’ which spans across North America and Europe. And, of course, HUNGER got to experience the stars’ talents first-hand last night at New York’s Webster Hall.
