Lana Del Rey granted restraining order against alleged grand theft auto stalker

He also allegedly stole her car and left a disturbing note outside of her home.

Lana Del Rey has been granted a restraining order against a man named Eric Everardo, who allegedly stole one of her cars. According to documents obtained by The BlastEverardo must now remain at least 100 yards away from Del Rey and her siblings “based on unlawful violence, a credible threat of violence or stalking.”

The conditions of the restraining order mean that Everardo is not allowed to possess any firearms, send any text messages or handwritten messages and “intimidate, threaten, stalk, destroy her personal property or disturb her general peace.”

In court documents filed February 14th, Everardo also allegedly visited her home on at least two occasions. Del Rey claimed that he stole her Jaguar when he first turned up at her property this February. He was then arrested and charged with two felony counts of residential burglary and grand theft auto.

But the Chemtrails Over The Country Club singer accused the man of returning to her home earlier this month. This time, Everardo allegedly left a bag at her gate containing “a handwritten letter… that was incredibly disturbing and indicated his desire to see me again,” alongside “other bizarre materials.”

Everardo didn’t stop there as Del Rey claimed the man also texted her sister on two occasions, obtaining her number through unknown means. The star’s security team was able to verify Everado’s identity and location after subsequent messages to Del Rey’s brother, Charlie Hill-Grant.

Del Rey said in the complaint: “Eric Everardo is a stalker. I have no relationship whatsoever with him,” before stating his harassment caused her “emotional distress.” She added, “There is absolutely no reason for him to be attempting to contact me or my sister, or to be approaching my home.”
