What would you like to see more of online? What about less of?

I would like to see more open minded free thinkers. Like, I know that everyone has their own opinions regarding things, but I wish that people would take at least an ounce of their effort to see the opposing side of whatever topic they might have an opinion on. I think it’s always important to somewhat try to put yourself in someone else’s mindset, even if their opinion is wonky and wrong.

What or who is the best account you follow?

The best account I follow on Instagram is @pettydonuts. Literally some of the best memes I’ve seen in forever.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve read about yourself online?

The craziest thing I’ve read about myself is that I apparently threatened a kid from my school saying that I was gonna “track his IP address and have the military snipe him”. I literally laughed so hard when I read that.

What’s your favourite meme?

The “SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A CORN” Amanda Bynes tweet

What’s your earliest memory of the Internet?

I remember sitting on my sister’s lap in like 2006 listening to Britney Spears’ “…One More Time” on YouTube. I remember the internet being like, super slow.

Is the Internet a good or bad thing for music?

The internet is such a great tool for music. I would not have made music if it weren’t for the internet, and I wouldn’t be doing this interview either! It’s amazing how the internet opened such great doors for me.

How many followers represent success?

It’s subjective for everyone, but for me personally, when I hit 1 million I think that means I’m successful. I know there’s people who say, “Followers don’t matter! You’re creating art and that’s all that matters <3” but for me, I think that having a large group of people who care about your art is crucial for my own view of success. But don’t get me wrong, even if you do have a small amount of followers, that can count as success, depending on your personal goals you have for yourself. But for me, I always like to set high expectations and goals for myself, and I guess that I have quite a ways to go!

Finally…what’s going on in your life?

A lot is going on! I’m still in school which is eventful. I’m working on some new singles and another music video which is gonna come sooner or later – basically everything that’s going on in my life is mainly related to music.
