Let Little Dragon be your Internet Guide
Dropping their new EP, Lover Chanting, on Friday, Little Dragon are showcasing their pioneering spirit more and more each track. Killing the game with their sharply experimental style, the band have found their signature sound hopping seamlessly between sultry soul and disco-worthy synth-pop.
We caught up with the group to get behind the scenes on their new tracks, as they get ready for an action packed 2019 as they star in the second edition of All Points East Festival. So let Little Dragon be your Internet Guide…
What would you like to see more of online? What about less of?
We all have our insecurities ,somehow online it often becomes about showing that perfect picture sensoring ourselves and confusing it with real life. My heart feels for the kids, young girls or guys who don’t feel ok with who they are or how they look. It would be nice if it become a place to truly embrace our differences and the beauty of that instead of all trying to be the same. But you hafto shift the whole culture to change that.
What or who is the best account you follow? The worst?
How about the talented roller skater @estrojen. She is dope !!!! Worst account… Not sure there are plenty.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve read about yourself online?
We haven’t ever really been in the tabloids. Nothing super crazy unless some bad review is crazy might feel crazy to us lol. I’m pretty struck by how people write my lyrics online that’s always funny to me but might just hafto articulate more!
What’s your earliest memory of the Internet?
I used to go to the library to write an email. Then myspace got us hooked.
Is the Internet a good or bad thing for music?
Both! It all depends on the angle your looking from!

Finally…what’s going on in your life?
At the moment we are on the road in a jet lagged haze its beautiful, confusing boring and fun! We are also writing new music which is brewing and marinating at the moment.
