Louis Vuitton has a new exhibition in Los Angeles

The perfect spot for both fashion lovers and Instagram fanatics.

French luxury house Louis Vuitton has just opened its latest exhibition in Los Angeles and we’re obsessed with it. Louis Vuitton X is, in fact, a celebration of the house’s 160 years of creative exchanges and artistic collaborations.

Drawing on over 180 items from the house’s archives beautifully showcased in state-of-the-art scenography, the exhibition traces the brand’s pioneering creative journey with a remarkable collection of early twentieth-century trunks, beautiful art deco window displays, iconic Monogram bags and original collaborations and commissions by various artists including Yayoi Kusama, Richard Prince and Zaha Hadid.

Located on Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive, the exhibition is a rich and immersive experience and an exhilarating exploration of Louis Vuitton’s ongoing dialogue between the past and the future, savoir-faire and innovation, heritage and modernity .

Alongside the exhibition, the French house has announced six new collaborations with leading contemporary artists Sam Falls, Urs Fischer, Nicholas Hlobo, Alex Israel, Tschabalala Self and Jonas Wood. Each of them interpreted the renown Capucine bag, named after the street where Louis Vuitton opened his first store.

Aesthetically pleasing and historic – the Louis Vuitton X exhibition is the perfect spot for both fashion lovers and Instagram fanatics. Don’t believe us? Take a look inside!

Louis Vuitton X is open June 28 to September 15 at 468 North Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills. Admission is free.
