Marni cordially invites you to the wedding of Truman Capote and Che Guevere

"I'm the Wedding Planner!"- Francesco Risso

We were all cordially invited to the wedding of Truman Capote and Che Guevere- and did I mention the dress code? No? Well, it’s none other than “camouflage meets carnival” Francesco Risso’s SS20 collection was a myriad ideology, ethos and collusion. Risso’s two greatest minds Marxist revolutionary and author of Breakfast at tiffany’s the embodiment of class and chaos- interchangeably so; “Truman Capote decided to leave his world of swans and embrace the jungle. We imagined him going into the jungle trying to seduce Che Guevara,” Risso had told. They were wed in a dimly lit, squat-like hall. Creatures of the night appeard and welcomed the unlikely union in a confection of multi-print suits , mixed dye two pieces and 3-d printed canvas jackets.

The collection seeped with collaborative notes, specifically regarding the collections showstoppers: the hats! A Mad hatter approved, ultra camp dreamscape that emphasized the necessity for collaboration.  The hats were all created using recycled materials from varied shapes sizes and styles these aren’t just any wardrobe staple.
