Marques Almeida want you to join their M’AFamily

Ever wished on a star and wondered, “hmm… If I could just get my foot in the door”, or, ever thought “hmm… I would love nothing more than to be a model” Well, now is your time. Marques’Almeida the Portuguese husband and wife design duo are looking to the gram for models to feature in their Aw19 collection. Discarding, draconian, fashion conventions aside, the designers are opting for a squad that largely reflects society. Though, the original M’A girls, were some of the coolest of fashion squads out there, they’re stepping aside this time around for body, height diversity, race, gender and LGBTQ+ leaning. In true, M’A fashion, the casting call, which, they’ve dubbed a ‘casting party’ an opportunity for personalities, spirits and energies to mix, mingle and potentially join the M’AFamily.

Those in attendance will be tasked by taking an instagram photo of themselves with the hashtag #MAFamilyCast for an opportunity to star in their AW19 collection. “We want the M’A family to be inclusive of all, a complete gender fluid approach and an inspiring mix of real people which is something we’ve always felt strongly about. Our approach has always been about using real people and championing their talents and passions through our work.” explained Marta, one half of the design duo. So, if you have what it takes, then head on down and get snapping.
