Meet the vibrant new talent of UNSIGNED

In its second year, the programme has curated the brightest progressive creatives from the world of illustration, film and photography.

Tonight is the launch of the latest edition of UNSIGNED, the annual showcase of creative talent hosted by ad agency BBH. The invite-only event will shine a light on 50 spotlighted artists, ranging from photographers, directors and illustrators.

UNSIGNED was created for two reasons, gain vital attention for new talent and also encourage those in the advertising and marketing world to look beyond their commissioned work and see the limitless creative potential in their craft.

In an interview with Creative Review, Stephan Ledger-Lomas, Head of Production and Partner at BBH, who has also co-curated this year’s UNSIGNED said: “It is BBH investing in the photographers, directors and illustrators of the future and becoming part of their story. It is easy to forget the resources, effort and determination it takes for artists to establish themselves in this industry and this event hopefully provides a platform for them and a new audience for their work.”

Work by the UNSIGNED artists will be shown at BBH’s London offices, available to view by appointment plus there will also be an online showcase on Instagram.

This year UNSIGNED has also partnered with FREE RANGE at the Truman Brewery to launch the first UNSIGNED Award. FREE RANGE is the UK’s largest graduate showcase for photography, illustration and fine art, and this year 5 winners have been selected by BBH’s art buying team to be part of 2019’s UNSIGNED showcase.
